There is a way out.
If you’re trapped in the cycle of addictive eating, binging, shame, or weight gain, I want you to know something.
It’s not your fault.
But it is your responsibility to heal this pattern and you don’t have to do it alone.
Through mindful eating, intentional fasting, and honest inner work, you CAN get this monkey off your back and have your right-sized body—and the life you were meant to live.
I’m Greg and I’ve lived both sides of this.
I spent years trapped in cycles of food addiction, self-hatred, and denial until my body shut down. In March 2017, I collapsed in Times Square from a sudden cardiac arrest. I was legally dead before first responders revived me. I was given a 2% chance of surviving without brain damage.
And I beat those odds.
That should have been my wake-up call.
But I wasn’t ready. I went right back into denial.
Even after dying, I couldn’t keep my word to myself or to the people I loved.
I kept breaking my promises about addressing my health to my wife, to my kids, to myself.
My family became unwilling participants in my ongoing cycle of weight trauma and workaholism. I numbed everything. I avoided connection at all costs.
And I almost lost everything because I refused to face the truth.
My transformation didn’t begin after I survived my cardiac arrest. It began a few years later—when I finally stopped lying to myself and did the work that actually heals.
I stopped pretending food wasn’t a problem.
I stopped pretending I could handle it on my own.
I stopped pretending I was okay.
That’s when everything started to change.
Now, I help others find their way out—just like I did.
I speak to:
Companies
Organizations
Places of worship
I work with people who are ready to:
Eliminate the blocks keeping them from living in their right-sized body
Overhaul their diet and relationship with food
Embrace honesty and drop the lies keeping them stuck
Transform from the inside out
If you're struggling with binge eating, food addiction, shame, or cycles that feel impossible to break—there is a way forward.
And you don't have to do it alone.
When you change the food you eat...
When you change the thoughts you feed yourself...
When you give up the lies you tell yourself and others...
When you finally say “no more” to living in anger, fear, and hopelessness.
Everything changes.
You look better.
You feel lighter.
You show up for the people you love.
You return to the life you were always meant to live... in your right sized body.
Book a free conversation—no pressure. Just possibility.
Let’s talk about where you are and where you want to go.
Greg Melli-Jones is a speaker, freedom from food addiction advocate, and transformation guide who helps people break free from the cycles of binge eating, shame, and self-sabotage. After surviving a sudden cardiac arrest in Times Square in 2017, Greg spent years confronting the deeper causes of his weight struggles—including emotional trauma, denial, and food addiction.
Through extended water fasting, OMAD keto eating, radical self-honesty, and a complete mindset shift, Greg lost over 60 pounds and reclaimed his health from the inside out. He now works with individuals and groups to eliminate the emotional blocks holding them back, reset their relationship with food, and return to their right-sized body—without shame or restriction.
Greg is also a passionate advocate for first responders. In 2023, he was honored to speak at the FDNY Engine 65’s 125th Anniversary, paying tribute to the very firefighters who helped save his life in Times Square. He believes in honoring the heroes who show up when life is on the line—and carries that same dedicated spirit of service into his work with clients.
Greg now speaks to companies, organizations, and churches about food freedom, transformation, and truth. Through one-on-one and group work, he helps people break free from food addiction and achieve lasting, sustainable weight loss. His mission is simple: to help others feel better, live better, and finally accept the truth that they are enough.
What does “Transformation Guide” really mean?
Let's be super clear on what that title means—and how it will help you.
Greg isn’t here to sell hype or empty motivation. As a transformation guide, he walks alongside you as you do the real, at times uncomfortable but incredibly rewarding work of change—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
It’s not just about weight loss. Not just behavior change.
It’s about ending the cycle of addiction, self-sabotage, and shame—and stepping into a life that feels clear, honest, and free.

“When I made peace with the truth, the weight started to fall away—physically, emotionally, all of it.
There is a way forward.”
